The BC Government’s Health Professions Act acknowledges chiropractors as doctors due to their education, experience and skills. As doctors, chiropractors provide evidence-based care to patients.
What is a subluxation?

What is an adjustment?
A Chiropractic adjustment is the use of a specific force in a precise direction that helps normalize the vertebrae's position and function. An adjustment is applied to a joint that is subluxated in order to, return the vertebrae to the normal anatomical position . Thus, restoring the body's natural healing.

At what age can you begin chiropractic care?
It is never too early to bring your child to the chiropractor. Infants just minutes old are often checked by the loving hands of the family chiropractor. The birthing process is physically strenuous for both mom and baby, so it is best to get them both cared for as soon as possible afterwards. That being said, it is never too late either! Children may enjoy the benefits of chiropractic care at any age or stage of development. If you really want to maximize the benefits of chiropractic care for your child, you can start by taking care of mom while baby is still in the womb.
Can I see a chiropractor if I am pregnant?

How many adjustments will I require?
